AGCO is organizing its first ever AGCO Africa Summit on January 23, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Our goals for the AGCO Africa Summit are simple, but bold: to raise awareness for the needs of the African continent and to promote...AGCO is organizing its first ever AGCO Africa Summit on January 23, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Our goals for the AGCO Africa Summit are simple, but bold: to raise awareness for the needs of the African continent and to promote greater participation in international dialogue and exchange and, by doing so, to encourage global businesses to invest in the future of Africa.
The theme of the AGCO Africa Summit will be “Future of Africa’s Food Supply” and the summit will look at Africa’s opportunities and obstacles in facing future challenges. Panels will discuss, among other issues, the need to mechanize to ensure food security in the face of declining agricultural land base and increasing population. Companies already investing in Africa will share their business experiences with the audience.

AGCO is holding video contest to find a moderator for this first time event. We look for someone who would like to represent his/her home continent Africa. The winner will become the AGCO Africa Ambassador and be a part of the AGCO Africa Summit 2012.
