#ShesAGCO: Featuring The Stories of Women at AGCO I

March is National Women’s History Month and on March 8, we celebrated International Women’s Day. As we are committed to empowering women in the workplace and their communities, we are featuring stories from a few women of AGCO over four blog posts.

We asked some of the women here at AGCO, why they love working here:

Role: Corporate Marketing and Communications Manager, Africa (2 years)
Why Shlobi Likes Working at AGCO: “What I am doing at AGCO is not a job. In more than 20 years of working life, I feel like it is the first time I am living a fulfilling life. To wake up every day and know that I am part of the team that makes a difference in the lives of billions of people. Being involved in taking Africa to the greater heights in the Agriculture sector, giving a new narrative of this sector in Africa – creating everlasting stories that make an African child think it is possible. The feeling is indescribable and unexplainable, I just LOVE IT. “

Role: Inside Aftersales Representative, Batavia  (19.5 years)
Why Phyllis Likes Working at AGCO: “I have had a passion for my job pretty much since the day I started. The youngest of 6, I was raised on a Farm in Central Illinois. I was taught at a young age to love the land and respect all of its wonders. AGCO has kept me in touch with those values in our wide range of Innovative Products and Ideas.
