Manitoba egg farmer Jacob Doerksen transitioned his flock of some 15,000 laying hens to new, larger housing more than 20 years before new Canadian laws take effect. He and his family also grow wheat, soybeans and canola, all with the help of a fleet of Massey Ferguson tractors, combines and a swather.
