The 2012 National Field Days in New Zealand, were held at Mystery Creek, Hamilton in June.

On the back of two days of successful Massey Ferguson and Fendt Dealer meetings in Auckland, a number of AGCO staff and dealers from across Australia and New Zealand made the trek to one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest field days, which spans across a massive 88 hectare site.

The AGCO site was once again an impressive display with each brand represented with a comprehensive line-up of product.

For a first in New Zealand, the new MF7600 Series tractors were on display for all to see.

Also on debut was the new Fendt 700, 800 and 900 SCR Series tractors, which received plenty of attention as customers flocked to see the new ranges.

The mood overall was very positive with the AGCO site receiving plenty of customers and interest which resulted in many sales being made.

“It was one of the most positive field days that I can remember – the level of inquiry and interest was huge and the subsequent orders that followed was something we haven’t seen in years,” says Peter Scott, NZ Manager for AGCO. “It certainly makes all the hard work and investment that goes into field days worthwhile”
