AGCO/Fendt will remain the main sponsor of the German Equestrian Team and will contribute towards helping the German Equestrian Federation (FN) and the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Sports (DOKR) meet the financial and organizational challenges of this top-level sport in the best way possible. AGCO/Fendt was also the main sponsor of the German Equestrian Team at the last World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and was the official product partner for agricultural machinery at the world’s biggest international equestrian tournament, the CHIO Aachen, for the first time. More than 1,000 hp of “AGCO/Fendt Power” were at work on the huge tournament grounds and the innovative technology from the agricultural equipment company can be seen in the 250-m² AGCO/Fendt exhibition area. AGCO/Fendt is presenting the latest innovations, up to and including the 900 Vario tractor, in the CHIO Village.
“Fendt is a worldwide leading high-tech tractors brand and the German riders lead in international competitions – that is an ideal combination,” said Martin Richenhagen. As the main sponsor, the traditional brand Fendt, which has three locations in Germany, will finance part of the equipment and act as the official tractor partner of the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Sports (DOKR) at the Training Center in Warendorf. Among other things, all the clothing of the German riders will carry the Fendt logo. With the continued sponsorship of the German Equipe, the agricultural equipment company signalizes its long-term commitment to German equestrian sports. The head of the German team, Reinhard Wendt, explained: “We are pleased to continue the very successful cooperation with Fendt and are grateful for the confidence that Fendt, as our main sponsor, has shown in us. We will be worthy international representatives for Fendt and Germany.”
